I grew up in rural Michigan. My hometown has 2,000 inhabitants and no stoplights. I love all things Michigan, and can show you where I’m from on my hand.

One of my favorite things to do, is cheer on marathon runners. I love to give out high fives on the second half of the race course.

Youngest of six

I have five older siblings, and am the youngest of a big diverse family. Collaboration, negotiations, and teamwork began at birth.

I played collegiate volleyball at Kalamazoo College, and led the hornets as a senior captain.

FOOTBALL FANATIC

I played professional women's tackle football for the Chicago Force. In addition, I was also a member of the US Women's National Football Team. We competed in the 2013 Women's World Championship in Finland and won the gold.
